I am usually pretty quiet about my neighborhood, even with all of the strange goings-on in the past year.
and by strange goings on, i mean the flood of white people.
last year it started with one or 2 u-haul vans full of the belongings of straight, white couples. Now, one or 2 does not necessarily indicate a trend, however over the following 6 months it was like there was some sort of announcement in Boreum Hill that there was gold to be had by young breeders if they high-tailed it east a bit.

I'm not racist or anything but I must say, I wasn't the only one to notice it.

I have lived here for some time without anyone hurling any sort of racial epithets at me.
I say hello to people, I smile, I have a 140 pound dog.
people give me a wide berth.
I know a few people who have lived here even longer than I have who are now being called "white bitch" amongst other "colorful" names
No one says anything to my gf because
A. shes hot and they don't want to ruin any chances of possibly , at some point, "hitting that".
B. she is part owner of the said 140 pound dog.
C. she's not really white.

so none of this is of any consequence to me but it might be of consequence to the growing discontented in the neighborhood because this is being built, as we sleep, on the corner of my street.
(ed.- "What we're doing in Brooklyn is not a luxury building," uh the estimated cost is $1000-$1500 per square foot. that is 900K for a studio apt...at the low end of the scale)

this means a LOT more white people. I venture to guess somewhere in the vicinity of, oh say 200 at the LEAST. and thats only accounting for my estimate of the percentage of white people to any other race that will be moving in.

i care not for their skin color
all i care is that these fuckers have private parking.
because we're not sharing with anyone else.
