so we were supposed to be in Berlin this week. amsterdam last week.
we had to cancel the trip because liz forgot that she was doing lights for Frankie.
so we are still here and probably changing the trip to somewhere warm.
the first time i was in Berlin it depressed me. It was shortly after the wall came down and the skyline was riddled with cranes. The architecture was concrete block with barely any windows and the food was awful.
so I wasn't devastated about not going because i couldn't think of anywhere i wouldn't want to be MORE than berlin in the winter.
so we are trying to figure out where to go.

the new requirements:
1. neither of us has been there (so, excluded: italy, france, spain, peru, switzerland, the netherlands, denmark, the czech republic, germany)
2. we both have to want to go there (that is the bigger problem)
3. it must be warm.
4. there must be more to do than sit on a beach
5. it must be out of North America
6. it has to be a place where i won't feel like i have to kill people for cat-calling or, god forgive them, groping.
i have been rallying for Turkey and Greece or, the boys are going to vietnam in the spring and since we weren't able to go to argentina with them...
