i applied for a job in london yesterday.

last week
Landry: how would you feel about living in London?
Liz: Lets go!

the good and bad thing about us both being crazy ADD children is that we are impulsive.
It is the thing that binds us like we could be bound to no one who didnt have that streak. it is the thing that i love about her that i have never found in anyone else.
my mother calls it "Folie a Deux".
It might be crazy but together we make it seem perfectly normal.

so as the week has progressed we have gotten ourselves so excited about the prospect of living in London that we have started looking at visas and something called The "Highly Skilled Migrant Programme". where we would, by a point system, qualify to live in the EU without having a job already set up. We could look for a job while we are there. this also opens up a lot of companies that would normally not want to deal with visa sponsorship.

alone i have 85 points.
only 65 points are required to qualify.

now we will be sitting on the couch eating dinner and she will just look at me and the look will be so full of joy and excitement that i get butterflies in my stomach.

as a textile designer, being in london would be invaluable. It's taken very seriously there and all of the TD's that i respect the most are from London.

as a photographer it would be career changing and give her the sort of creative freedom that she wants.

as artists and as people we would thrive there.

i havent told my sister yet. im waiting to stop playing phone tag. i hope the hurricane keeps her from reading this before i talk to her.
