Subject: au revoir

After a whirlwind three and a half years I have decided to leave my
full-time position as Associate Art Director of Next Magazine. My last
day will be tomorrow, August 31st.

As you may know, during my time at Next, I have balanced the hectic
hours of a weekly publication while working as a freelance
photographer, nightclub lighting designer as well as the occasional
graphic design project.

As an artist, I am now ready to dedicate more time and focus to my
passions for photo and light. I am excited about moving forward and I
would like to thank the many people who have helped me to grow as an
artist and designer, as well as voice my appreciation for the
opprotunities afforded me here.

The Associate Publisher, Jeff Woodward, has been extremely supportive
in my desire to follow my craft and has been invaluable in my decision
making process.

Between my fellow employees and the people I have photographed and
worked with through Next,I would be unable to thank each person who
has helped me along the way to this point.
Please accept my gratitude and appreciation for all of the experience,
hard work and the fun.

I am proud to be among the Next 'alumnus'.
