7.01.2005you may or may not be aware of the fact that i was an utter and COMPLETE Duran Duran nerd when i was younger (a LOT younger) so i since i took a day off today i decided that the best use of my time was to buy Duran Duran stuff on itunes and then an even better idea came to me...that i should start doing google searches on them. HOLY SHIT the biggest fucking tools on the planet still follow them. i do not argue that, for all of the drugs and hard living that he has done, from a really young age, John Taylor still looks pretty hot BUT that does not excuse things like this (i will not even go INTO the design and layout of this ATROCIOUS thing) i mean... i was a DORK about it. i had everything ever printed about them posters with shiny lip gloss marks on the face of John Taylor...and occasionally when i was feeling particularly randy... (and extra fag-haggy)i would lay one on the one dimentional Nick Rhodes. I collected rare import vinyl- which nowadays means nothing because any retard can go onto ebay and buy anything they want without leaving their fucking house- however i was 10, living in a New Jersey suburb and with parents with NO money. i was what they used to call a Duranie so in my quest to find some validation to my theory that they were all having all sort of gay sex back when i was 10 and swooning, i found the most ridiculous postings from the most ridiculous creatures...and i DO mean creatures... these freaks have blogs dedicated to Duran Duran. I still have some love though. I was even looking to see if maybe i could get tickets to some shows this summer but realized that A. I am NEVER here. B. I wouldnt see them unless i could be sitting on stage C. these people would be there- en force. so i bought some shit on itunes and called it a day off to Fire Island with my Duran Duran disks!!! check ****update while looking for links that i wanted to set up for you all to enjoy i nearly died seriously between the HORRID design the pop up boxes the Duran Duran role playing games and the "art" i nearly laughed myself to DEATH. so i sort of feel like i should bring you all a little feeling of "OMG!!! I am SO glad i am not such a fucking TOOL" by adding MORE links these are even BETTER than the people who have blogs about their golden retrievers. at least those people KNOW their dogs. and they are not blogging about Benji or Lassie. please whenever you feel down, you should look at these websites. you will realize that things are not so bad. .: posted by landry 5:20 PM
