light streaks, leaks and blurs tend to be a nusiance or the ruination of a perfectly good photograph for most people
most photographers use light as a means to an end
and not the end itself
they use it as a means of illuminating something else.
we have all see the 'something else' and it is incredibly boring
LL has figured out how to use it as paint.
her photos, -well, at least her best ones
are not of something.
they are photographs of the light itself
they are not photos that show a landscape and how the light lays on and beautifies the landscape.
they are landscapes that only exist through light
