that last post seemed to have upset some people.
it wasn't meant to and its not about me at all
it is the brother of one of my oldest and dearest friends.
the world has been worried for him for a few years now. he moved to LA and started acting weird- that in and of itself is not so strange what with the custom of "when in Rome..." but he started to get scary weird.
all bets were on schizophrenia and there was really nothing his family could do about it. they couldn't commit him against his will, his family is all over the country and have no way of keeping an eye on him, and apparently as long as your rent is paid (which his father was taking care of) you are not considered crazy.

so, for at least the third time, her father goes there to see what can be done. this after he was attacked the last time he showed face at her brothers apartment.
he walks in to find knee high garbage every sort of dirty gay boy porn there is and no brother.

it is crystal meth not schizophrenia
hes been doing it for about 3 years.
and if you don't know anything about crystal meth, you are better off.
i am afraid to see the havok that drug is going to cause in this world.
crack is for pussies compared to this.

she and i are certainly no angels and we are no strangers to drugs of all kinds. Back when we worked at limelight, we would come into the club and the boy who worked at the door would give us a handfull of pills with some vague instructions:
take the red one now
take the yellow one a little later
take the pink one before you leave
take the green one when you want to go to sleep
and take the blue one when you wake up

so its not that i am being prudish or overly dramatic
it really makes me sad
that a brilliant creature like my friends brother who is going to be less because of this ordeal.
and with crystal its hard to find your sympathy/empathy because it makes people so agressive and mean, not sad and pathetic. its easy to feel for someone when they are bedraggled and sort of broken.
when they are raging and telling you that its your fault-
not so easy.
