i have to stop talking/thinking about politics for awhile.
everyone is so testy
this is not to say that i am changing or keeping my opinions to myself,
i am just tired of thinking about it

so
as i have said (and complained about MANY MANY times)
i work in NJ now.
both of my offices in NYC were yanked out from under me by an evil evil beast.
and in all of the time that i have been here...the ONLY redeeming thing that has happened to be because of it is this:





i have no idea if that has anything to do with the aurora borealis last night, but i made everyone stop what they were doing to come look out the window.
they humored me all the while looking at me like they had far better things to do.

um...has anyone SEEN these offices?!?!?!?
they are grey
the worst kind of dirty, mid tone grey that your mind can come up with.
and i was so thrilled to see color of any kind.

grey grey grey
all day long
day in and day out
then they go home and watch tv.
and they were not even excited to see the sun set.
