That people will surprise you.

Having a girlfriend that lives in my area code has caused a lot of distress for people.
some worse than for others

they are used to ME
and pretty much just me.

for the past 4 years i have been single in their eyes.
having a girlfriend 800 or 1200 miles away still leaves me pretty free to play and foucus my attention on them.

now, its serious
and im here
and shes here
and we have been cocooned with eachother and not feeling like sharing.
and this can cause feelings of neglect and discontent amongst friends.

but do you want me out with you for drinks or dinner and my head somewhere else?

i am getting there.
i am starting to introduce you all to her.
im still not fond of the sharing but i am starting to miss you and so something has to give.

i have to learn to be a good sharer.
