I am really starting to get scared about the state of affairs in this country.

I can't even pick up a paper without feeling completely overwhelmed.

i have stopped reading the Times altogether.
I used to read religiously
until the world started going to hell in a handbasket

i am not even sure where to start
maybe the fact that the country, according to every poll going, is in a dead split between Kerry and Dubya.
that just PROVES that the country is half democrat and half stupid.
it seems to me that if Nixon were in office right now he would be honored with a third term
wire taps and all.
because, the republicans would say, it is a good thing to have a president that was up on technology in this world of global terrorism.

LL sent me this link which i was MESMERIZED by. Its a little long but worth it.
and in the interest of being fair, as I said to her, the same could probably be done with the democrats. all of these bastards think that fear is the way to win votes.

and most people are too stupid to realize both of the big truths that exist for us right now

1. We are not safe.
2. We have been made more vulnerable by this administration.

as gullible as i know people are, i am shocked that anyone actually believes that we can 'hunt down and liquidate (WTF does THAT mean?!?!?- ed) terrorists where they hide"

are they kidding?
they cant even find a world infamous, 6'8" diabetic, on dialysis, riding a FUCKING DONKEY.

yet

they have 47% of this country convinced that they can rid the world of terrorism in 2 swift steps.
step 1. find terrorists
step 2. kill them
