barely noticing that i am in the room
hands circling each other to show the momentum of your thoughts
the ease of the words flooding out
the assuredness of the strings of sentences
i sometimes don't even hear what you are saying
i am lulled by the calm that the speed of your speech gives me
by the manic descriptives
by the rotation of your hands.
by the authority in your voice that i watch you possess with others.
