i have to keep refraining from signing work emails:

this sort of melancholy crashed in on me at around 12:38 last night.
because i know what that kind of energy that stuff takes.
i have been standing exactly where she stands

i have, in the past, not had the patience that she has
i was much more rash
and thus,
i lost my best friend
the one and only regret i have in my life

i hope that she is able to see what this looks like
even 2 weeks from now
that it WILL be less difficult
....even if only ever so slightly
