went to WEDROCK last night which was set up by John Cameron Mitchell in conjunction with this group.
talk about kick ass night...

crap!!!!!!!!
a little tangent about lou reed.
i was OBSESSED with lou reed when i was 9
completely and totally obsessed.
i had gotten a hold of Transformer somehow (possibly the 21 year old punk rock girl who lived behind us who i was fascinated with)
and i would walk around the house singing "Andy's Chest".
my parents would just look at each other like.........
um....did YOU give her that?
they were at once thoroughly amused and sort of startled.
and they would just laugh at me singing about the hairless bears.
i was also obsessed with david bowie around the same time. and interestingly, david bowie produced transformer. something i had no clue about at 9.

anyway...last night.

a straight guy who kept hitting on the extra talls
a bunch of really rude people who got a lesson in polite behavior from amos and i
and a pair of the hottest bald gay boys i have ever laid eyes on dancing together.
one was wearing a long leather skirt. and high black boots.
a billion people who i know and haven't seen in awhile
and this great guy who has a radio show in stonybrook.
we talked about music for close to an hour.
and that hot little number that amos sidled up to.
and coincidentally forgot to leave until 8:30 this am.
