i am going to do my best not to give away the last episode of Boy meets Boy for those who didn't see it, BUT...I don't have to turn in my gay membership card anytime soon.

i am not going to make any excuses for my behavior. I watched. i watched it every other week, but i watched nonetheless. It was all fun and games until they actually TOLD james that one of the 3 men that were left was straight. then it just felt wrong.

i must say that i felt far worse for him because his best friend who, upon finding out that there was a 'straight in the woodpile' spent 20 minutes talking about what it meant to her. She cried and threw a hissy like a baby. HE ended up consoling HER.
THAT was fucked up.

i have to say it, the premise sucks. its mean.

I have heard people say "ooooh looks like his 'gaydar' isn't very good"

his gaydar was disengaged. He turned the fucker off.
no need for gaydar at the gay beach house on Fire Island.
which is essentially what that was.

the flip side of that was. they were not there for 8 or 10 weeks. it LOOKED that way, but from the day they all arrived until the final episode was exactly 7 days.
Not a whole lot of time to fall in love. so even if he DID like the straight one, i doubt the severity of the betrayal would cause sufficent trauma.

did he think there was no catch? and what would be the obvious catch?
so either he is really naive or really dumb.

the next one will be great because the vibe will be so much different throughout the whole show. it will be more like that awful show from a few years ago "The Mole"
