i had this fucked up dream and it was side by side like The Pillowbook gorgeous and disturbing one side was warm and tropical and you were shiny and sweaty and naked and lying on your back on asphalt. there were warehouse buildings in the background and you had your eyes closed and i remembered every single part of you and the way your hip bone juts out and the color of your skin and the daisy tattoo that you gave yourself as an olive branch to me with a razor and india ink at the circus school. she photographed ordeal and you sent it to me. and said im sorry. this is how much i love you and this is how much i don't want you to leave me for good.
i cried when i got it.
the other side was quiet and snowy and forested and she was lying covered up so i couldn't see any part of her body. only beautiful pink cheeks and smiling.
