3.18.2003what the bastards are calling, not a war, but a "defensive first strike" or something like that. what is that? as i fear writing this i will do it anyway...... the alleged "president" is an idiot. i say that not because he is uneducated but because he is a frat boy. He is exactly what i hate about priveledged white boys. he feeds the stereotype that I have not been doing much to dismantle in my own head. he doesn't listen. he does what ever he wants, regardless that the other frat boys are telling him that even THEY think its a bad idea. He has no social skills . he would be the one at the party plying the girl with beer to get her good and drunk because he wouldn't otherwise get anywhere with her. OK i am a girl...i believe in social skill so kill me! i see that there is nothing that people can do to stop this. i went to the big protests here. i have written my congress people. i have called the hotlines. but i think i might be changing my mind. even if it is not the intent of that ding dong 'president', MAYBE we will be doing the iraqi people a favor. MAYBE if we can rid them of this demon who has been torturing them and testing nerve gas on them and livestock and prisioners MAYBE they will be better off. The only diplomatic options it seems, are more inspections and sanctions against the country. but in the past when hussein was faced with sanctions allowing only the sale of enough oil for food and medicine for his people, he used it to procure more weapons and his people starved. i was watching a show on PBS the other day and the wisdom of the shows writer was that, statistically more people would die from starvation than war and of those people, 60% would be children. I am not sure that this is true. I can't find any documentation to back it up and you all know that i am ALL ABOUT THE DOCUMENTATION. but it SEEMS right. I know that he is waging a terrible war on his people. he uses them as shields. He is an evil man. and i don't, for one second think that he does NOT have some bad shit there in terms of weaponry. i have said before and i will say it again, i am all about a little 'Bay of Pigs" action. take that MF out, quietly without dropping bombs on big cities. i can't be FOR dropping bombs on big cities.
